As for the 3.9GB file, I am not too sure about that but then again, what kind of file that big would you want to load on your device? I remember reading something about data getting corrupted... so it would be cool if there is a small .net app to create a large 3.9GB file with random data and then to verify it, and then to write new random data (in random order). keep us posted. Why fix something that isn't spoilt? But if you are getting a new card, by all means, go ahead. You can always un-install it if it doesn't work. The patch is still new and being tested so I am not really sure the extent of the operations but so far, things are looking good generally.
