Post Roundup for the Week Ending Sepetember 15th 2007

Monday
This day brought a mix of good and bad news to Eten users. First the good news. 4GB (and higher capacities) memory cards are now possible on the Eten Glofiish X500 (and possibly all other Glofiish devices) thanks to a patch. Depending on which ROM version you are using, you might face some problems so proceed with caution.
The bad news is that the soon-to-be-launched Eten Glofiish X800 appears to not have the capability to use the GSM and WiFi module at the same time. Whether this is a strategy by Eten to pass on the emission standards passed by the FCC can only be confirmed in due time.
Tuesday
The green LED not lighting up after a full charge is a concern to many users of the Glofiish range of devices and I too am affected by it. But I might have a reason as to why this is all happening.
Wednesday
A day for reviews and this time its with DinarSoft’s MemMaid 2.0. Does it really live up to all its bells and whistles? Also, stand a chance to win a copy of MemMaid just by leaving a comment on any post.
Thursday
Muting the phone during an incoming call is something that not many people know how to do on their Windows Mobile device but its actually very simple. Now you can enjoy the silence without having to listen to all that ringing.
There was also some good news for potential owners of the Eten Glofiish X800 who were concerned about the GSM and WiFi issue.
Users of VITO Voice2Go will also be pleased to know that a new update has been made available. If you have yet ot update your software, now would be a good time.
Friday
Its Free Software day and this week, I introduced OutSync, a small application that works on your desktop/laptop but allows you to synchronize your Facebook friends with Microsoft Outlook contacts. This then allows you to see pictures of your callers when they call you.
