Switching Made Easy
Sep 23rd, 2007 by Tariq Bamadhaj
Switching between tasks is not as easy as Alt-Tab on a Windows PC. You could tap multiple times to get the job done or you could use DinarSoft’s HandySwitcher.

This software not only allows you to switch easily between tasks, it also allows you to close those tasks when you are done, thus freeing up precious RAM. And no matter what version of Windows you are using or your screen orientation, you can be sure HandySwitcher supports it. It’s even smart enough to minimize some programs instead of closing them to avoid errors (such as ActiveSync when you are connected to your computer).
This software usually retails for USD$9.99 but we’re giving it away for free.
This week only, just leave a comment on any post and you are automatically entered in the draw. Just like our previous DinarSoft TapText and MemMaid giveaway. Links and trackbacks to this blog will also count as an entry each and there is no limit to the number of entries you can submit.
We’ll take all comments made until 11.59pm, Saturday, September 29th 2007 (Eastern Time). A winner will be randomly selected and results will be announced on this blog the following Monday, October 1st 2007.

This app works somehow like the Today Plugin - PocketPlus but if the user doesn’t require the other functions of PocketPlus, HandySwitcher is good enough.
OK, count me in, I could definitely use it.
I have been using the trial for a couple of days now and would definitely like to snag a free copy!
Just for the record, I use pBar (freeware) and love it. Very small and simple, but totally configurable. Even has a little app-launcher section. Just black & white though, doesn’t pick up your theme. I don’t care as long as it’s reliable and fast. I’m sure HandySwitcher is great, I just don’t see a reason to switch.
I use pBar too and love it. I guess it all depends on the user’s choice
