A new Sunday and a new set of links from around the web. All related to Windows Mobile or Eten this time around. Let me know what you think.
- If you liked the the contacts scrolling in the iPhone, why not use it in your Windows Mobile device? The Microsoft WOW Blog has the details and the download.
- Fancy winning yourself a HTC Kaiser? Then head on over to Gear Diary and take part in their anniversary giveaway. Let us know if you win one. I wonder what I will be giving away on my first anniversary
- Reviews of the Eten Glofiish X800 are starting to surface but here’s a a refreshing take at reviews. The Eten Glofiish X800 video review! There is also a written review (the most informative I have seen thus far) if you feel like doing some reading.
- It looks like Mozilla is finally bringing its FireFox browser to Windows Mobile. Slated for release in 2008, this should pose a decent competitor to Opera Mobile. Will it be free? Your other Mozilla option right now would be the Minimo.
- Ialways thought that the MS BT Stack that comes with most mobile devices (including those in Eten’s) was pretty weak compared to Boradcomm’s offering. However, there seems to be another breakthrough with it, this time, with the PAN server.
- If you are interested in getting JAVA to run on your Windows Mobile phone, head over to Petr Panteleyev’s Blog where he will show you just that.
- A very interesting article on Windows Mobile, where it is and where it will be heading.
- WMExperts have found a great video streaming site that you should check out. Its Windows Mobile friendly
- Jealous of iPhone’s full web browsing capability? It seems that a new version of IE is coming out soon, according to HTC, that will such a feature to WM as well.
- If you cant wait that long for such a great browser, then this piece of news about WebKit (used in the iPhone), is going to make you happy.
- If you would like to use OneCare with your WM device, Guy Barette will show you how.
