Eten Launches New Website: Glofiish
Eten has finally updated their site with regards to all the new models that have announced over the last couple of weeks. But don’t go heading to Eten Corp’s website, because you would not find it there. Instead, they have set up a site, called Glofiish, to showcase all the new phones and as well as news related to them. It’s a nice snazzy website worth checking out. Heavy on flash, you get to play with the devices and find out more about that upcoming ones that may soon end up in your pocket.
Google Phone Finally Officially Announced
After so many months of speculations, the Google Phone has finally been announced. Instead of competing with Apple, Google is pitching the new OS against Windows Mobile instead. Yes it is actually a platform (operating system) instead of a physical as many initially thought. This definitely looks interesting and hopefully brings a much needed shakeup to the industry. I wonder if it can be ported to Eten devices?
Eten Glofiish X800: Now Shipping
It’s been a long wait but it’s finally happening. The Eten Glofiish X800 has begun shipping worldwide and you should be able to get a hold of one very soon if you have not been able to. While waiting for your device, you might want to check out our review on it.
LogMeIn Goes Mobile
LogMeIn is a web-based platform that allows you to remote control other computers easily over the web. Recently, they decided to enter the smartphone market and right now are testing this out. This means that once the product is launched, you will be able to remote control your smart phone from over the web. If you want to get a preview, here’s the link.
Eten Glofiish X600 Specifications
Another late addition to the Glofiish family is the X600 which is similar to the X500 but boasts a smaller footprint. The buttons have been re-aligned but it does look to be a winner for those who want to jump on the Glofiish bandwagon but do not need the 3G and VGA functions.
