Opera Mini 4 Come Out Of Beta
If you have yet to use Opera Mini 4, there is no better time than the present because it has recently come out of beta. While it requires a Java manager to run, it does offer some advantages over it’s Pocket PC counterpart such as being free and having a preview of the website. Head over to Opera Mini to check it, give it a trial run and download the software.
GetMobio Comes To Windows Mobile
This software is something like Google Maps and Microsoft Live Search in a sense that it provides you with information. However, each applet download only provides you one type of information such as say cheap gas or movies. So if you just need one type of information regularly and do not want to install other programs because you have no use for those features, then do check out GetMobio. Thanks to jkOnTheRun for the heads up.
Interview With Oliver Scholz From Microsoft USA
msmobiles has an intervire with Oliver Scholz and discuss the new voice recognition feature of Microsoft Live Search. Check out their site for the audio download as well as some screenshots of it in action.
Take On Microsoft Office Communicator Mobile 2007
While not many of us would use this software as it’s targeted for companies, it is nonetheless interesting. Judging from the write up by AppScout, this software would be very useful for mobile road warriors or those who are across various locations. You get to set your status and also see the status of others to see if it is a good time for you to call or if sending it as an email would be a better option.
