When I first started this shootout, I too was wondering what I should and should not include. When it came down to deciding, I felt that the most basic questions should be answered, anything more advanced could be included but I would have to consider, how many users would actually be interested in such advance features. When I saw that the default keyboard was the most popular choice among all the entries, it suggested that most of the users just wanted a SIP that works easily first and foremost. During my test, TouchPal had problems with accurate entries when typing fast. Even though I thought I had entered a character, it entered another character and it happened on quite a few occasions. As such, it did not rank as highly as one would thought.

I do agree that no matter how I rank the SIPs, there would always be disagreement due to different preferences. But I thank you for you input and hope that you will leave more comments to help improve future articles
