Welcome 2008 And Hello New Site Layout!
Jan 1st, 2008 by Tariq Bamadhaj
Firstly, I’d like to wish all readers of Eten Blog dot Com a Happy New Year. Your support for this blog is greatly appreciated and I could not have brought this site to this level if not for you.2007 has been a great and eventful year. Even though we started after the first half of the year, this blog shows great potential and continues to grow promisingly. It really is exciting to be on board and working on this site from day to day. But something was missing and that was interactivity. This site could not function without it’s readers.
Focus For 2008: Community
With that in mind, I’ve decided to focus on one thing in 2008 and that is Community. From what we currently offer (new site layout, threaded comments and a forum) to what we are working on (which will be announced soon), we’re focusing on interactivity. We’re definitely open to suggestions in this area so if you have any, do contact us or let us know about it in the forum.
Contribute
Taking a step towards building a community, we’ll be opening up registrations on this site in the next couple of days. By registering an account here, not only will you have your own profile page so that others can find out and interact with you, you will also be able to contribute articles to the site. Let your thoughts be heard! If writing, is not for you, we have other ways that you can contribute this site. Check out this page here for more information as it’ll be appropriately updated.
New Site Layout And Advertising
Lastly, we hope that you like the new site layout. We’ve designed it such that both regular and new readers to the blog will find useful information easily. We’ve also started opening up advertising options on this site. These advertisers will not only get to expose their products to a targeted audience, you as the reader will also benefit by being informed of their latest offerings. Everyone wins! We’d like to lay to rest any reservations you might have about us doing advertising. We promise never to compromise editorial integrity so you can rest assured that our articles are unbiased and impartial.
With that, we bid you farewell but not before we take another chance to with you all the best for 2008. We look forward to your continued support and interaction with the community at Eten Blog dot Com.

whao, I must admit, the site layout is darn hip now! I like the colors of EBDC and the icons in the “recommended software” section. Cute! Keep it up!
Hi Adrian
Thanks for the compliments. It took us a while to get to what we wanted but we think that the wait was really worth it. Enjoy the new site and looking forward to more interactions
Hy, Tariq
I think did big mistake, I,ve install the T Switch by Tonychen and now all sound comes from Loud Seaker. Is there any solution for this?
Thanks…
Hi Manuel
Don’t the sounds usually come out of loudspeaker? Could you share with me which device you are using this with and does that device have Skype Receiver Switch (from Eten) installed?
What I can advice you for now is to launch T Switch and deactivate it. Sound should then come out from their respective outlet.
Also, do use the forums for posting your problems in the future. It would be much appreciated.
Thanks for your prompt response
I’m using E-ten M700 upgraded to Mobile 6 and yes comes with the Skype Switch preinstalled. The problem starts since I install the T-Switch, it didn’t works on my device when I use it so I close both aplications, but later when try to make a call I do not hear any sound. The only way to hear the sound is with speakerphone or headset. I have tried to remove it, re-boot it and also re-boot to default settings, but problem still… Will you please give me a solution…?
Thanks…
Hi Manuel
I am not sure what to say because I have not encountered this problem before. However, you might want to try some of these solutions which I thought of:
1) Run T switch again, activate, play an mp3 file to make sure that sound comes out from the phone speaker then deactivate it and make sure the sound now comes out from the loud (back) sepaker. If this happens, then you have solved the problem.
2) If that does not work, then try to un-install T-switch and do a soft-reset.
3) If that still does not work, then your only choice is to do a hard reset but before you do so, I need to ask you:
Did you use a headset or the headset socket at any time when the problem occurred? If you did, then that is the problem and not T switch. If you didn’t, then I can’t think of anything else at this time.
I hate the new announcement on top of the page
the site is awesome congrats
Hi Xavier
It’s been a while and we’re all wondering when your next article will be out. Right now, I’m experimenting with some advertising options so there will be slight changes here and there. Thanks for the compliments and feedback.
