Jan 16th, 2008 by Tariq Bamadhaj
It’s been a while since we last did this series and we hope that we’ll be able to do this on a more consistent basis from now on. Getting extra help is always appreciated so if you would like to, we’ve got the information right here. Without further ado, here are the latest news that we think you might find useful.
Angstrom Power Brings Hydrogen Fuel Cells To Cellphones
When I first switched to smartphones, one of the biggest drawback was the battery life. I really missed my old phones that were able to go on standby for almost a week with average usage. Well it looks like those days are coming back if Angstrom Power get’s this thing on the market.
New Browser For Windows Mobile
Ibis has decided to join the browser wars with their version of ibisBrowser. It’s currently on technology preview so you can still play around with it for free. Downloads here. It does not support JAVAscript and AJAX which makes me wonder why I would want to use this over Opera Mini. Any thoughts on this?
Eten Glofiish V900 Surfaces
I must be one of the last few to bring you news of this latest offering by ETEN. No one knows much about except that its targeted for mobile TV viewing and will be making its debut next month in Barcelona. Hopefully, we’ll see more firm specs by that time.
Do You Twitt?
I have yet to try this webapp out (mainly because I do not have unlimited texting) but for those who are crazy about it, you now have TwitterCam and TwitterVoice. The former allows you to take a picture and twit it at the same time while the former is for voice.
