Eten Blog dot Com has been showing really promising growth and it’s thanks to you readers for helping me grow this site from what it was in July 2007 when we first launched to what it is today. As the site continues to grow, I’ve been looking at ways to expand it. One way to do this was to introduce advertisements to the site. From 2008, we did just that. We tried out various ad placements and sizes and we’re now open to accept ads from the advertisers.

But that does not mean we have forgotten about you. Which is why we want you to be a part of our decision making process. We have received several offers from various advertisers who would like to advertise here. Initially we wanted to keep our ads only related to Windows Mobile but we realized that our readers do have other interests besides just Windows Mobile. Which is why we want to know: What kind of ads do you want to see here on Eten Blog dot Com?

We have set up a poll which you can see from the main page. It’s located just below the Eten Blog dot Com sponsors with the heading Your Say. All you need to do is place a tick beside each ad that you would like / do not mind seeing on Eten Blog dot Com. We’ll then collect your answers and apply it to our advertisers. To make it easier to vote, we’ve placed a copy if it in this post as well.

We understand that some of you hate seeing ads on sites but the reason we are doing so is to create a better community for our readers. We have a lot planned for this year and to accomplish that we need resources to do so. We also are on the lookout for sponsors who are willing to offer discounts and free stuff to our readers so if you know of any, do let us know about it. At the end of the day, the reason we do the things we do is to make it better for our readers.
