My Password Manager for Pocket PC 1.0
Simtel has just released Password Manager for Pocket PC. I am not sure how good this software is because eWallet has been serving me well and gives me no reason (at the moment) to switch. Anyways back to Password Manager and the developers claim that this software has low system requirements (just how low, I don’t know) and that it utilizes 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm, one of the best encryption out there. They’ve got a 30 day trial those of you who still do not have such a manager on your Pocket PC might want to check it out.
T-Mobile Phones Stolen
According to Boy Genius Report, one of T-Mobile’s warehouses was recently hit by thieves who made away with over $8 million worth of device, mainly the Sidekick. The bad news for these thieves is that T-Mobile knows the IMEI of the phones so once they’re bring used, it would just be a matter of time before they get caught. No news yet as to what will happen if you purchased such a stolen phone.
iPhone Look-A-Like Runnig Windows Mobile?
No its not the Meizu although I have no idea when we will ever see that device (or a review of it for starters). Instead this piece of news comes from Pocket PC Blast who claim that Samsung is the manufacturer in question. Not much details here so you might want to keep a lookout if you are in the market.

YouTube Mobile: New And Improved
Well it sure took a while but YouTube now has reworked their mobile site dedicated to cell phones. If you have been waiting a long while for this, I guess you have not read my guide on playing YouTube in your Pocket PC?
Spb Finance Finally Gets An Upgrade
It was a really long time but its finally been upgraded. Spb Finance that is and it’s now at v2.8. Nothing much in terms of features but it now officially supports Windows Mobile 6, Vista and Microsoft Money 2008. I was hoping for something more, especially since it’s been a while since they last had an upgrade for this otherwise great product.
SKTools now at v4.1.24
If you are a user, then you might want to consider upgrading. Improvements include:
- added new option “Events”
- added column “time” in Files option
- SKTools will check inserted card before make HR
- added setting for power off device after auto freeup ram
- in “System Information” added time from last boot and idle time
