It was an awesome giveaway which received the most entries in a giveaway to date. Looking at your comments, I have to say that there were some really insightful suggestions and feedback which I am sure VITO will find useful and might just implement in their next release of the application.

Anyway, I am here to announce the winners of the FunContact 2 giveaway. Only comments left in this thread qualified so if you left your suggestion in another thread, I will not be counting it. There are 3 licenses up for grabs with 1 going to a registered user on this site and the other 2 are open (registered and non-registered). The comments were placed in a sheet and randomly selected. Here are the winners:

  • melvynadam (Registered User)
  • George (comment 19)
  • steveazee (comment 26)

Congratulations. I have sent an email to the address that you used when leaving the comment so do check that and reply to me to claim your prize. If I do not receive a reply by next week, February 19th 2008, I will be giving it away to another random winner. So who knows, if you didn’t win this time around, you might still be a winner next week.

I’d just like to point out that we only had 2 registered users who took part in this giveaway which really increased their chances at winning one. So if you want to win, do register. It’s fast and free. And not to worry, I do not sell or use your emails for anything.

There is currently another prize giveaway going on and in this one, you can win cash. Find out more about the cash giveaway here.

Congrats! The iWindowsMobile applications haven’t really blown me away, but they’re really on the right track and FunContact is really easy to use. I still find that the starting time is too long, it should be closer to the opening time of the default contacts application. But after that, it’s very useful!

p.s. Yay I got a gravatar!
