I think the battery is poor because it's not conditioned yet? Maybe after a few charging cycles, it would last longer. That proved to the be the case on my end. There is an article on the poolsize fix which is pretty easy to follow. If you have any problems there, feel free to let me know and I will guide you through it.

I think the biggest difference is the ROM version and the fact that so far the paint chipping is isolated to the battery cover. so far I like the device. writing from it right now. Battery life is a bit poor but I just ordered the extended battery from Clove. comes with a new battery cover, LOL. but I am alittle unsure on how to do the poolsize fix. maybe one of you guys can walk me thru it..? with all stock eten items installed, you do run out of ram fast so thats why i think its a must for the poolsize rom fix. thanks again for the support and I will keep on posting.

Thanks for the heads up. I assume you got your device from them? Is there any difference between the old one and the new one?

FYI.... paint is now chipping from back cover only. I know the Eten Webshop is sending out replacement battery covers to all which is nice. also, not sure if anyone lik threaded text messaging but the palm rip from the treo 750 works great on the m800. even the MMS works in it which is rare!

That's rather weird. Looks like the M800 does not connect onto the GSM850 band which AT&T uses. I think Eten should be fixing this but there might be a solution in the mean time. Let me see if I can dig it up.
