Happy 7th, VITO Technology! I think it's an excellent deal to offer $7 for each app! Maybe they were listening when I made the comment about discounting software for customers?

Regardless, I think I have a few that I will be getting.

I also always go the site of the developer, but unfortunately most of them seem to list Handango as their preferred distributor, simply by linking to them or working with a basket that automatically creates the purchase at Handango.
It's a shame, in the PPC blog world many people agree that Handango has gotten to the point of doing things look quite unacceptable, but most customers never read blogs like these and just find Handango a useful site with lots of software.

Because at the moment, there is no other solution that offers as wide a reach as Handango. There are a lot of users who prefer to go to software houses and make their purchase because they get to browse through all the titles. And these users sometimes end up buying titles they were not planning to get in the first place (trickling sales) and this is a big benefit to developers.

Yeah there seems to be no confirmation as to what the solution is at the moment. However, if it still offers improved video, I think that is a step in the right direction.

I do agree with you on Handango. They are the biggest software house out there from what I see. Someone has to do something about it. I mean these developers have to work their butt off to create, test and release their software. While I do agree that software houses should take a commission, the amount that Handango takes is really absurbdly high. I mean, how many of them actually sell more than $250 000 titles a month?

Has a customer I prefer to search and visit the official websites of each product instead of companies like handango and others.
If Handango takes so much money from the developers why do they still use it ? make the same has the writers strike at Hollywood, stop "feeding" Handango
