Microsoft Offers Free Developer And Designer Tools
If you’ve ever wanted to learn to code and or design applications and you are a student, you can now get your very own tools from Microsoft for free. There is no catch though you need to sign up and validate your student status. There are a variety of ways so choose the one that suits you best. And unlike the Zune giveaway that is only for those in the United States, this giveaway is open to all in United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, China, Germany, France, Finland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Belgium. The titles you can choose from include Visual Studio 2008 Professional, Windows Server 2003 Standard, SQL Server 2005 Developer Edition, Expression Studio, XNA Game Studio, Visual Studio 2005 Professional and Virtual PC. Creationia Is Now Free
I am not much of a gamer but when a game that was once for sale is now free, it must be great news to someone. For those who have not heard about this RPG game, there is a review by Werner here which you can read. And for the rest (spmwinkel are you reading this?), here is the download page to hours of fun. Sprint To Offer $60 Unlimited Plan?
What do you do if you introduced an unlimited plan and your competitors followed suit with the same price/package. If you are Sprint, you go even lower. Just how low? 40% lower it seems. That’s right: a $60 unlimited plan for all you can talk does sound enticing but the problem is, this is not confirmed at the moment. Good news is that Sprint is not denying (nor are they approving) the report so it’s still open. At the rate that Sprint is losing customers, this might be a good idea. Thanks for picking news based on what your readers are interested in!
I will most certainly check it out. No time for it this weekend but I’ll install it nonetheless, that makes sure that it will not be forgotten. I don’t mind the sound being missing, I don’t care for sounds anyway so for me it just makes the program bigger. Let’s see if a real RPG game can get me interested.
You’re welcome. It’s all about the community
