Developer Series 2008: Prize Giveaway II
Feb 26th, 2008 by Tariq Bamadhaj
I might have started late on the first prize giveaway of the Developer Series but this one and the rest of them will start on time (hopefully). Quick recap for those not aware of what is happening: Eten Blog dot Com’s first Developer Series just came to an end and for those of you who have read it, you’d know that the the developers who participated have decided to donate some prizes as part of series. Unlike other prize giveaway, this time, you can pick any title from the developer’s library (with the exception of Spb where you can choose from 2 great titles). However, I am going to make it a little more interesting this time around so you have to read carefully.Ready to win some great prizes? Then read on.
How To Take Part?
This time around, you will have to leave a comment in the Eten Blog dot Com’s Forum. Yes we do have a Forum actually where you can start a thread on various subjects or volunteer help to those who need them.

The Forum can be accessed by clicking on the word Forum in the navigation bar at the top of the site. See above screen shot for example.
Like comments, you do not have to register to contribute to the Forum. All you need is some simple math knowledge (to curb spam) and a valid email address. That’s how I will be contacting the winner so please use a valid email address.
So what can yo do in the Forum? Well, there are a lot of sections and you can choose which ones suits you best:
- Windows Mobile Support (problems related to WM)
- Accessories Support (problems related to accessories)
- Introductions (introduce yourself)
- Chit-Chat (talk about anything)
- Marketplace (buy and sell)
- Site Suggestions (have a suggestion?)
If these sections, don’t interest, there are still others that might so be sure to check out the Forum. Just remember, the more threads you start or reply in, the higher your chances of winning.
Duration Of Contest
24 hours. So that means you have to leave your thread between 0000-2359hrs on February 26th 2008 (Eastern Time). Anything before or after those timestamps will not count.
When Is The Winner Selected?
Immediately after the contest is closed, I will select a winner and email the person. Therefore, please use a valid email address.
There will also be a post announcing the winner on this site so in the very unlikely event that you do not get my email (be sure to check your spam folder as well), you can always double-check back here.
What’s Up For Grab
This time around, you can choose any title from SBSH’s library such:
So there you have it folks. All you need to know to take part and (hopefully) win this contest. It doesn’t matter if nobody leaves a reply to a thread you started, all that matters is you leaving your mark. If there’s something you are unclear of, feel free to ask in the comments below or in the forums (it increases your chances
)
Note: Your email will not be used for anything other than to inform you that you have won so you have nothing to worry about. It might be passed to the developer in question for them to contact you and give you the prize. That’s all. It will never be used by me in any other way.

Not going to enter on this one since I already have all those programs so other people can have more chances.

Welllll… I don’t have a license to HandyList, but I think having a license for MyList makes more sense anyway.
Actually you can get any title from their library. Does not just have to be the ones I mentioned
Or perhaps SBSH is still trying to give away Handylist or course, which could be possible but highly unlikely!
Oppps. My bad. I actually went to SBSH’s site and clicked on the Pocket PC Software picture and it brought up HandyList. But thanks for pointing it out. I will make the changes shortly.
If I post as a guest (with a real name and email address) on the forum is it a valid entry?
You don’t even need to use your real name. Just a valid email address is needed.
