This is totally different things. Total Commander CE and Standard File Explorer are file explorer programs. While Total Commander CE is a great file explorer, it is not used (and I doubt it can be used) to browse through files while you are in another program. To elaborate, if you are sending a new email and you try to insert a file into the email, that is the file exchange dialog I am talking about.

It's not that big if I remembered correctly but I can't give you exact numbers. The best thing is if you do not like it, you can always remove it easily from Remove Programs.

I use Total Commander CE instead of the standard FE and it not only gives me much more options to handle my files, but also I can see my filesystem as a tree and have 2 windows, just like old good NortonCommander. It opens and handles ZIP files and ftp connections. And is very small. And is free. And I am not affiliated with the producer :)

Wow, this is quite cool! Usually if I download something from the internet it's a cab file which I install and then remove, or something that I simply do want in a My Documents folder, but I defenitely see the need for this. Is it large to have installed into main storage?
