Eten Blog Servers Getting An Upgrade
If you were to visit Eten Blog dot Com on March 8th 2008 between the hours of 12 midnight and 6am (Eastern Time), don’t be alarmed if you get an error. The host I am on will be upgrading their servers during that time and there might be some site downtime, but that’s about it. All operations should resume as per normal after 6am.

No More Daily Windows Mobile News From Next Week
I have been contemplating it for a while and I have decided that from next week, there will not be a daily Windows Mobile News on XXX. There were several reasons for this decision. For one, it’s taking up a lot of time which I could put to better use on this site. The other was that there are days when there are really not much news to bring to you. However, I will consolidate all those news for you and publish them on Sunday, similar to the weekly Link Love. This way, you get to keep yourself update as well. What do you think?
WizCode Releases PocketAlarm Update
Now at 2.18.4, this is one of those applications that you wished was default on Windows Mobile. That’s because it provides you with so much features when working with your alarms. I did a review about it if you would like to read it. I could not find a changelog at the time of this article but you might want to check back to see if you should upgrade. Howard Forums May Get Shut Down
By MobiTV that is. All because a user on Howard Forums posted some URLs on the site that allowed anyone to access MobiTV’s paid content. The funny part is, MobiTV did not put any login or security of any sort so anyone who has those URL can access the site. When a takedown letter sent by MobiTV’s lawyer were not heeded by Howard Forums, they went directly to the site host to complain and asked that the site be taken down. And the chances are high that the site host would permit that request. Digg this story to help Howard Forums. I still remember them being one of the very first forums I went to when I started using smartphones. Don’t let this site go down. Digg this story. [via jkOnTheRun]
Google Calendar Now Syncs With Outlook & Windows Mobile
Well it does not sync directly with Windows Mobile but since it now syncs with your Microsoft Outlook, it will also indirectly sync with your Windows Mobile. No longer do you have to spend good money on applications that allow you to do this because Google now has their own application to help you out. Let’s hope they come up with a Contacts version of the sync soon. In the meantime, you can start syncing with their application here. [via Google Blog]
